Obviously the game had serious issues at launch, and I'm not trying to excuse Treyarch/Activision releasing an unfinished game. Cranked hardpoint is an absolutely goated game mode. Seriously that playlist is so damn fun, especially on smaller maps. I've just been having a blast trying out new weapons, messing around in party games, and grinding 12 v 12 moshpit. The dopamine hit from the classic hitmarker sound makes me feel like a kid again. The movement, gunplay, TTK, etc all just feels so good. I can't necessarily explain it that well, but it feels like an evolution of the games I loved so much, specifically BO1 & 2. ![]() I picked it up about a week ago and I'm so happy I did. However a friend of mine suggested I try Cold War as it was on sale for less than $30 and felt more like a golden age COD game. I didn't jump back in during MW2019 like a lot of people did, but I bought into the hype of MW2 2022 and grabbed it at launch. My favorites were always Black Ops 1 & 2, although I enjoyed MW2 a lot as well. After that I stepped away from the franchise as I didn't really enjoy the direction it was going in. ![]() So I've been playing COD for quite awhile, started with MW2 and played religiously through Black Ops 3.
